The LEI code shall be applicable to all OTC transactions undertaken by entities other than individuals in the markets for Government securities, money market instruments, foreign exchange instruments and derivatives covered under section 45U of Chapter III-D of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
(2) For users / clients undertaking non-derivative foreign exchange transactions, the LEI code shall be applicable only for transactions involving an amount equivalent to or exceeding USD one million or equivalent thereof in other currencies.
Section A of the Directions on implementation of Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) shall come into force with immediate effect.
Section B of the Directions on implementation of Unique Transaction Identifier (UTI) shall come into effect from January 01, 2027.

(g) natural gas pipeline operators;

(j) any public sector or private sector entity engaged in activities forming part of the petroleum or natural gas supply chain, shall furnish to PPAC, information relating to production, imports, exports, stocks, storage, allocation, transportation, supply, consumption and utilisation of petroleum products or natural gas, aggregated or disaggregated by geography, time or consumers as may be specified.
