Template Review

You list the agreements your team in India drafts most often, such as confidentiality, service, supply and employment contracts, and the positions already settled. Those become the standard templates to lock in LexKontract, so every drafter starts from approved language.

Template Build and Lock

Approved templates are loaded into LexKontract and locked, so settled language cannot be edited without a recorded deviation. AI Suggestions then recommend improvements, flag incomplete clauses and surface standard language from the template library while people draft, so the lock never slows a drafter down.

Request Route and Approvals

The email-based request route and the governance framework are configured to your rules: who may request, who drafts, who reviews and who approves each contract type. Role-based access decides who can see agreements whose commercial terms are confidential to one business unit.

Drafting and Execution

Drafters generate a first version from a template or by describing the agreement to the AI, compare versions as the counterparty responds, and route the final draft for approval. Execution uses the scanned signature utility or an integrated signing platform.

Repository and Renewals

Signed contracts return to the repository with key data extracted, and alerts track renewal, expiry and commitment dates for your Indian and overseas agreements. Is a contract drafted with software valid under Indian law?

Validity depends on the agreement, not the tool. Under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, agreements are contracts if made by the free consent of parties competent to contract, for a lawful consideration and object, and not expressly declared void. Stamping and execution formalities still apply.

What does contract generation software cost?
