Instruments) Directions, 2025
Central 07-01-2025 Banking and Forex Laws, Regulatory Laws These Directions shall be applicable to all

transactions by eligible non-residents in

debt instruments.

Environment Protection (End-of-Life Vehicles) Rules, 2025 Central 01-04-2025 Environment, Health and Safety Laws (1) These rules shall apply to, –
(a) the producer, registered owner of vehicles, bulk consumers, Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility, collection centres, automated testing stations and entities involved in testing of vehicles, handling,
processing and scrapping of End-of-Life vehicles, but shall not apply to:
(i) waste batteries covered under the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022;
(ii) plastic packaging as covered under the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016;
(iii) waste tyres and used oil as covered under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016;
(iv) E-waste as covered under E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022.
(b) all types of vehicles defined in clause (28) of section 2 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), and includes an electric vehicle, battery operated vehicle, e-rikshaw or e-cart, but shall not apply to:
(i) agricultural tractor;
(ii) agricultural trailer;
(iii) combine harvester; and
(iv) power tiller.
Master Circular for Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations Central 30-12-2024 Capital Market Laws This Master Circular is applicable to Stock Exchange and Clearing Corporations and supersedes previous Master Circular SEBI/ HO/ MRD2/PoD-2/CIR/P/2023/171 dated October 16, 2023.
Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Maintenance of Information by the Regulated Entities and Sharing of Information by the Authority) Regulations 2025 Central 03-01-2025 Regulatory Laws The objective of these regulations is to enable:
i. insurers to maintain data as required for its operations in electronic form; to ensure security and compliance with applicable laws; and to adopt an established data governance framework.
ii. insurers and the intermediaries including insurance intermediaries to maintain all basic, necessary and relevant data and information to enable the investigating officer appointed under Section 33 of the Insurance Act, 1938 to investigate or inspect the affairs of any insurer, intermediaries including insurance intermediaries and report to the Authority on any such investigation.
iii. Authority to share information judiciously considering the principles of confidentiality, including consent, disclosure, security, rights and interests of the stakeholders who own or provide such information to Authority.
Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Regulatory Sandbox) Regulations, 2025 Central 03-01-2025 Regulatory Laws The objectives of these Regulations are:
(1) To facilitate innovation in the insurance sector while ensuring orderly development of the insurance sector and protection of interests of the policyholders.
(2) To facilitate creation of regulatory sandbox environment and to relax such provisions of any existing Regulations framed by the Authority for a limited scope and limited duration, if such a
relaxation is necessary during the experiment period.
Offshore Areas Mineral
Conservation and Development Rules, 2024
Central 31-12-2024 Regulatory Laws These rules shall apply to all minerals in the offshore areas, except mineral oils and hydrocarbons related thereto.
Nagaland Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition & Regulation) Rules, 2024 Nagaland 30-11-2024 Human, Labour and Employment Laws The State Government has provided for various provisions to ensure that children and adolescents are not employed or permitted to work in any occupation or process in contravention to the provisions of the Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition & Regulation) Act, 1986.
Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission
(Green Energy Open Access) Regulations, 2024
Bihar 23-12-2024 Regulatory Laws These regulations shall be applicable for allowing Connectivity
and Open Access to electricity generated from green energy sources as defined under item no. 2(1) (n) of Regulation 3 of these Regulations, including the energy from non-fossil fuel-based Waste-to-Energy plant for use of Intra-State Transmission System
(InSTS) and/or distribution system in the State or both, including Intra-State Transmission or Distribution System(s), which are incidental to Inter-State Transmission of electricity.
Provided that existing consumer(s)/generators shall continue to avail
the open access as per the existing agreements or government policy for the period specified in those agreements or policies, unless specifically provided under any clause of these regulations.
Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Green Energy Open Access and Banking) Regulations, 2024 Himachal Pradesh Yet to be notified Regulatory Laws These Regulations shall be applicable for allowing connectivity and Open Access to electricity generated from the Green/Renewable Energy Sources, as defined under clause (m) of Regulation 2 of these Regulations (including the energy generated from non-fossil based waste to energy plant) for use of Intra-State Transmission System
(InSTS) or distribution system of licensee(s) in the State or both, including when such Intra-State Transmission and/or distribution system(s), is used in conjunction with the Inter-State Transmission system.
Gujarat RERA Bank Account Directions, 2025 Gujarat 01-01-2025 Regulatory Laws These Directions supersede Gujarat RERA Bank Account Directions, 2018 and aim to establish mechanism for operation and maintenance of separate bank account for GujRERA registered projects and to safeguard consumer interest, compliance, ensure transparency, accountability, financial discipline as well as to have uniformity in the operation and maintenance of bank accounts of the project and standardize legitimate use of funds deposited in the separate RERA Bank account.
Andhra Pradesh Electronics Manufacturing Policy (4.0) 2024-29 Andhra Pradesh 30-10-2025 Regulatory Laws This policy envisions to make the State as a premier destination for the electronics manufacturing industry by providing world-class infrastructure, by fostering innovation through emerging technologies, by bringing the entire electronics value chain to the State, and by creating large-scale employment opportunities through a conducive policy environment. a) To promote and enable the development of world class Industrial Parks by private sector agencies in Andhra Pradesh.
b) To generate employment and attract investment by enabling the formation of a conducive environment to bring in investments in the state.

Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Power Quality) Regulations, 2025 Madhya Pradesh 10-01-2025 Regulatory Laws The objective of these Regulations is to ensure the monitoring and maintenance of Power Quality parameters as prescribed by the CEA Regulations referenced herein. The scope covers key parameters,
including supply voltage variation, voltage unbalance, flickers, voltage sags/dips, swells, and harmonics, both on the supply side and at consumer installations.
