Tin Ingot (Quality Control) Order, 2025 Central 2025-10-17 Regulatory Laws Tin Ingot shall conform to IS 26:2024 and shall bear the Standard Mark under a license from the Bureau of Indian Standards as per Scheme-1 of Schedule-II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.

Aluminium Alloy Products (Quality Control) Order, 2025 Central 2025-10-01 Regulatory Laws Aluminium and aluminium alloy products shall conform to the corresponding Indian Standard given in column (3) of the Table and

shall bear the Standard Mark under a license from the Bureau as per Scheme-I of Schedule-II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018:

Provided that nothing in this Order shall apply to goods or articles manufactured domestically for export:

Provided further that the micro enterprises and small enterprises, as defined under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006 (27 of 2006) shall conform to such Indian Standards from the date specified in the corresponding entry under columns (6) and (7) of the Table and for general (other than micro and small enterprises) shall

conform to such Indian Standards from the date specified in the corresponding entry under column (5) respectively:

Provided also that nothing in this Order shall apply to the goods or articles imported up to two hundred kilograms for the purpose of research and development by manufacturers of Aluminium products per year with the condition that—

(a) such imported goods and articles shall not be sold commercially, and shall be disposed of as a scrap; and

(b) the manufacturer shall maintain year-wise record of such imported goods or articles and furnish the same to the Central Government on in its letter head duly signed by its authorised signatory.

Central 2025-04-25 Regulatory Laws The Rules provide detailed procedure for compounding of offences under Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
Sugar (Control) Order, 2025 Central 2025-05-01 Regulatory Laws The new Order has repealed Sugar (Control) Order, 1966 and the Sugar Price (Control) Order, 2018. It provides for regulation of standards related to sugar and allied products.
Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (Procedure) Rules, 2025 Central 2025-04-24 Indirect Taxation Laws The Rules provide detailed procedure on the matters pending with Appellate Tribunal under Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 or the State Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 of the concerned State or the

Union territory Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.

Biological Diversity (Access to Biological Resources and Knowledge Associated thereto and Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits) Regulations, 2025 Central 2025-04-20 Regulatory Laws The Regulations have repealed Guidelines on Access to Biological Resources and Associated Knowledge and Benefits Sharing Regulations,

2014. It provides for mode of benefit sharing for accessing biological resource including digital sequence information or knowledge associated thereto for research or bio-survey and bio-utilisation/ commercial utilisation under section 3 of the Act.

Reserve Bank of India (Digital Lending)

Directions, 2025

Central 2025-05-08 Banking and Forex Laws These Directions shall be applicable to all digital lending activities of the following entities, hereinafter referred to as a Regulated Entity (RE) and collectively as Regulated Entities (REs), as the context may require:

i. All Commercial Banks,

ii. All Primary (Urban) Co-operative Banks, State Co-operative Banks, Central Co operative Banks,

iii. All Non-Banking Financial Companies (including Housing Finance Companies), and

iv. All All-India Financial Institutions.

The new Directions have repealed the following:

i. Loans Sourced by Banks and NBFCs over Digital Lending Platforms: Adherence to Fair Practices Code and Outsourcing Guidelines

ii. Guidelines on Digital Lending

iii. Guidelines on Default Loss Guarantee (DLG) in Digital Lending

Competition Commission of India (Determination of Cost of Production)

Regulations, 2025

Central 2025-05-06 Corporate Laws Competition Commission of India (Determination of Cost of Production) Regulations, 2009 have been repealed by the new Regulations. It provides for the manner of determination of cost of production. Cost in the Explanation to section 4 of the Act shall, generally, be taken as average variable cost, as a proxy for marginal cost:

Provided that in specific cases, for reasons to be recorded in writing, the Commission may, depending on the nature of the industry, market and technology used, consider any other relevant cost concept such as average total cost, average avoidable cost, or long run average incremental cost.

Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board

(Registration for Establishing and Operating Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminals)

Regulations, 2025

Central 2025-05-09 Regulatory Laws These regulations shall apply to an entity –

(a) Which is desirous of establishing or operating a Liquefied Natural Gas terminal (hereinafter referred to as “LNG terminal”) after the appointed day;

(b) Which has already established or is operating a LNG terminal immediately before the appointed day, where “appointed day” means the date of October 1, 2007, when the Central Government

notified the establishment of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board.

Chhattisgarh State Share Capital Grant Rules, 2024 Chhattisgarh 2024-11-01 Corporate Laws New micro and small industrial units set up in the State by State domiciled entrepreneurs with project cost upto 10 crore will be eligible for grants under these Rules provided that for next five years they employ 100% unskilled, 70% skilled and 40% managerial staff from Chhattisgarh itself.
Madhya Pradesh Integrated Township Policy 2025 Madhya Pradesh 2025-03-14 Regulatory Laws Development of integrated townships shall be encouraged in areas where trunk infrastructure facilities are available or can easily be established.
Madhya Pradesh Industrial Promotion Policy 2025 Madhya Pradesh 2025-05-13 Corporate Laws

The policy shall be effective from the date of notification of this policy for five years or till the launch of new policy. Any large-scale manufacturing units starting commercial production during this period shall be eligible to claim incentives under this policy.
